I've always wondered what 3-D moving images were called because they are really fun to use in dioramas. I did some searching and within a few clicks I had it.

I just purchased 10 lenticular winking cartoon eyes vari-vue motion flickers for $9.95!!! (from 3D entertainment). They have tons of lenticular items for sale. Shop Here.

Lenticular printing technology was created in the 1940s. A lenticular lens is used to produce images with an illusion of depth, or the ability to move as the image is viewed from different angles . Examples of lenticular printing include animation effects such as winking eyes.
